Huge stats but you wouldn't say that was one of his best games would you?
made us look like a proper team, with out him it would of been dreadful, by far the best player for brisbane and probably the best on the ground completely.

Where did all the smart arse posters from the beginning of the thread go?

45 possession mean nothing in this day and age

Not even with 19 of them contested, 11 clearances, 14 tackles and a goal. Yeah, he's really invisible out there.

Some Hawthorn fans are incredibly ungracious. He was the reason we were in front at quarter time and the reason we didn't go down to the Hawks by our customary 100+ margin.

Real lack of class on show here.

no he didn't that is a 50 every day of the week awful umpiring, he wont be there in the finals.
Yeah he absolutely did.
First pick is Cyril standing with his player therefore allowed to be there. Notice rockliff going off the line?

next shot is less that half a second later (cyrils player had only taken one and a half steps. umpires clearly already almost completed his 'play on' call:

Rockliff had begun to go off his line.
Now the "play on" you may argue was incorrect, but he had gone off the line. the free was paid were Langford was standing. I personally think they call play on too early in general, and this is an example of.

cyril has to go with his man, see his facing the other way when green has run off meaning he is in the danger zone lol.

go back to first pick.Cyril is literally touching his man. Rockliff is already off his line. Rockliffs line is 2 meters behind him. It only takes one step. LOL

doesnt matter cyril left his man and entered the dangerzone before the umpire called play on.

But he hadn't. otherwise all you have to do is take a mark and kick the ball into a player in the protected zone, instant fifty.
The umpire also would have yelled "play on" before fully extending his arms here:

What we cant deduce from all these images is at which point "play on" was yelled, and judging by cyrils jumping, it was early, and the fact the umpire let it go agrees with this. Do you have some concrete evidence to the contrary? cause everything points to a correct call.

doesn't matter now just one of the terrible decisions the umpires made in a disgraceful performance by the men in green.
