Well the journos are more confident than me, everyone has tipped us.

I personally think it's 60/40.
You can't pick 60/40, they might feel the same but you can only pick a team to win. Most people agree with you, but unless you pick a draw, it's Freo to win. Who knows, after this game we might have an AFL endorsed 'rivalry' with Port. Similar to the epic WC/Sydney one.

Strange that Richmond are given more of a chance against Sydney than Port against Freo.

As much as I'd like Richmond to win, they're next to no chance, unless Sydney ease up (or it rains, which is looking likely)

its ok for Crowley to play dirty (which personally doesnt worry me) but if we target Barlows hand its not-on, pot calling the kettle i think

Baker got an 8 week ban (or was it 12?) for hitting an injured hand.
Hitting the splint will hopefully cause more damage to the hitter than Micky.

He got reported 4 times, 1 was for hitting the injured hand of a Geelong player which he got 3 week downgrade to 2 from memory.

Unfortunately Barlow plays for Fremantle :(

Yeah I'm getting over the whole Port love-fest... 5 minutes on their board and I want to see the South Australian streets wiped with Lleyton Hewitt's innards.
Where were all their supporters when they were losing a couple of years ago, massive bandwagoners.

Isn't Hewitt an Adelaide supporter?

1. Crowley doesn't play dirty.
2. The ruse of you being a port supporter might be more convincing if you actually posted something on their board.

I thought I'd seen his face before somewhere, now I get it:

Fair enough. You might be interested in seeing this though.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-07-30/the-delivery-men

Duffield is the most efficient user going inside 50, not just in the team... but in the entire afl. He doesn't just kick well out of defense. He is a brilliant kick into our F50.

Fair enough if you reckon sutty is one of the best delivering inside 50 in the team. But Duffield is better at it than sutty. Not just observations or preferences here... its backed up by data.

you can argue with the stats if you like. They're only ever a partial view of anything. But these stats show that Duffield finds a target inside 50 more than any other player in the whole afl... and pretty comfortably so. Even sutty.

"The most efficient: Paul Duffield While Pearce goes in most often, Duffield's precision kicking makes him the most effective in the AFL at 67.7 per cent. He is the designated kick-in specialist for Fremantle as well so he is arguably the Dockers' most trusted player with ball in hand."

Sydney have nothing to play for, whereas the stakes for Richmond are massive.

If Sydney get thumped they won't finish lower than 2nd.

Richmond could end up ... 9th!

Read it a few weeks ago and had it in the back of my mind during all the arguing back and forth. Wasn't sure how many on the forum were aware of it... probably a minority I suspect.

I expect it to be completely ignored to be honest. Or disregarded with the logical equivalent of a hand flap. Hope springs eternal though...
