Wouldn't be surprised if a couple of the emergencies end up playing.

Might as well go the cotton wool approach, would a huge win really give West Coast "momentum" going into next year? Nothing to be gained from this game I wouldn't have thought other than seeing if a few fringe players are up to it maybe.

Really difficult to pick the winner of this match. Both teams will be looking to end 2014 on a high, so they can create a winning momentum for a tilt at the flag in 2015. What must be concerning for the Eagles is how the retirement on Hunt will inspire the Gold Coast, and conversely for Gold Coast how the retirement of Cox will inspire the Eagles. Both teams will be inspired to send their club champions out on a positive note.

Hunt isn't playing and neither is Cox, so I don't think it matters all that much.

My hate for Sydney has been renewed BTW. Only game I have wanted them to win all year and they can't get it done. Useless campaigners.:p
