The Hawks take their unbeaten streak on the road with a game against the losing grand finallists of 2013. Yes, it's the grand final replay, under lights at Simonds Stadium (Kardinia Park) in Geelong. The Hawks will be venturing into hostile territory as a taster to the blockbuster Hawthorn/Geelong game on Easter Monday.
According to Box Hill, gates open at 5pm and entry will be through the Polly Farmer and Bernie Smith Gates on Moorabool Street, Geelong. Carparking will be available via three main entrances - Kardinia Park entrance off Kilgour Street, Park Crescent or from La Trobe Terrace.
If memory serves, it was announced during the game last Sunday against the Zebras that trains would depart Southern Cross for Geelong at 3pm and at 4pm for the game, but the club doesn't mention this on the site, so if you're considering taking the train down to Geelong, I suggest you contact the club for details.
As always, the boys from 3WBC 94.1FM and at www.3wbc.org.au will be broadcasting the game.
The development squad enjoys a bye this weekend.
