My thoughts exactly. We look quality occasionally when tactics flow. But when ordinary players, of which there is still too many, get involved we fall apart.

We play about a 5-10 minute gap of good play with heaps of chances outside of which is some by some dumb dumb football.

Frustrating.

Guessing the average is around the $110,000-$130,000 mark for A-League based on that PDF file. Teams have a cap of about . Just had a read on this webpage (below), that the cap was set to $2.55 million this season for a squad of around 23 players (not including Marquee players)

Which is decent Australian wage but obviously nothing in comparison to European leagues.

Just back from the game and what a clinic it was. Another bumper crowd too - that's something like 107,000 in 3 games.

The big name recruiting and hot air from across town equates to 2 points from 3 games, and Villa who walked the last 10 minutes tonight, with only one game remaining.
