Getting the pre game jitters hope we get off to a flyer to shut the crowd down

In some ways it s annoying that we are expected to win this because it means if we don't it will be a huge bummer. Im really surprised by the sportsbook odds in this game. They seem to be ignoring the fact that its played in Adelaide in front of 50,000 of their rabid supporters.

Not diputing the 60%. But how do you rate the long bombs into the 50 that seem to be more interested in finding the boundary line than a teamate. Some blues supporting associates (couldn't call em mates) complain that he doesnt get pinged for it more. Is it an effective kick, if thats the tactic?
Frustrates the crap outta me for a senior player, but i sometimes wonder how much of a setup this is for the 'rope a dope' play. When he chooses to drop his eyes, he can really rip them to shreds.

Given the % of goals we score from stoppages inside the forward 50, then I'd say it is done purposefully....Lewis ability as the 3rd man up in creating clearances & goals from stoppages is also significant....Smart Footballer & getting better all the time.

Yep it will be the pineapple hotel for me instead. One eye on the Hawks smashing Port, the other on the Eels dominating the Broncos.

Oh well at least we don't get the awful rain my friends and family put up with today

Whilst I'm just down the road from the Pineapple the alcohol is cheaper and my couch/tv combo is better than what is on offer out there though I wouldn't mind hanging out with some fellow hawks and enjoying the night!

You misunderstand my post. I wasn't having a go at him.

Sorry if you thought I was having a go, not my intention.

While he does appear pretty ineffective at times, he not intending a pinpoint pass anyhow, so I don't know how those things can be rated properly. That said, there's a time and a place to bomb it long, and is frustrating to watch when that isn't the best option.
