The Gold City Royals once again are proving to be the choice destination for the big name players of the SFA. Late yesterday a deal in principle was done that will see bomberlegend2007 leave the East Side Hawks to strengthen the growing Royals in S18.

The Royals wasted no time in presenting a deal to the out of contract star after they lost several players over the last few months. bomberlegend2007 is a versatile player and is tipped to be a game changer for the young club, desperately needing a few experienced players to help the qooty team take a big step forward in a make or break season.

Earlier today Co Captain Wise Guy Sam and bomberlegend2007 addressed the media outside the Golden Throne. WGS had this to say on the latest signing; "I'm thrilled to have @Bomberslegend2007 join the club! We were hoping for a few key players to add to our list and BL was one guy we have had our eye on for some time. Credit to the team for making the Royals a desired location and great work to okeydoke7 for doing most of the work".

Bomberlegend2007 followed WGS with the following comments; "It was great to hear the Royals had a keen interest in me. I can tell the captains have studied me a lot the last few months, making sure that I was the right fit for the club. Also Wise Guy Sam, there is no S in bomberlegend2007....

I visited the club last night and was really excited by what I saw. Igloo and Marlowe were training hard together, over the off season no less! Those guys were having a kick but neither of them seemed to be kicking it that accurately to one another, I assume on purpose to make each other really run and build a good tank. Also I didn't notice a single mark taken, obviously they were working on spoiling and picking up the ball off the ground on the run. Clean hands below the knees are important after all...."

The last time a Royal captain got the name wrong of his own player it was Aenimence and that guy evolved like a pokemon to be a star.

I also noticed a lot of behinds being kicked during the goal kicking drill. I just assume it was a reminder of what we shouldn't be doing on game day.

I had to stop and listen to what he had to say because I thought be another former SFA'er with an inflated sense of self-worth and yearning for the glory days. Instead I found a well-centered individual with a laid back demeanor and a penchant for Community quote, and I knew almost instantly he was destined to be a Royal.

He may be the best recruit we've ever snagged.

Well this is horribly disappointing, shame the club couldn't receive a heads up and a shame that a club like the Royals are following the lead of the Wonders and trying to pick opposition sides apart.. It's s**t like this that will end some clubs in the competition.

Disappointed in you Wise Guy Sam and not surprised that Son of God is trying to continue the trend, looks like signing new talent was only a year one thing for the Royals.
