Ryan Griffen requests trade to GWS

No doubt there isn't 1. I doubt any GWS fans go back on it either - Shiel, Treloar playing some fantastic footy and McCarthy is just about one of the most exciting talents at the moment.

But they can still be bitter
We got McCarthy in the hogan trade by on trading pick 20 with our second rounder for pick 14 from port.

We got Caleb marchbank in the Boyd trade.

Unless you mean we arnt missing Boyd

Griffen has been worth all of what the dogs are paying him atm.

Turned up terribly unfit courtesy of his previous employer. Gonna be another preseason to get him up to the fitness standards we have. Thank * were not paying him i guess.

Hmmm, guess he'll be right when he reaches the clearly superior fitness standards of his new team.

Such a s**t excuse, massive cop out.

Lol. U dont fire on all cylinders do you.
What's wrong with my statement? Clearly the only problem with Griffen is his fitness, we gave him to you as a 28 year old who can't run out games, right?

We have a KPF who has a long way to go in his game vs GWS getting a player in his twilight after we'd gotten his best out of him. Paid overs for Boyd IMO, but complaining over it isn't going to change things.

Unfortunately for GWS, Griffen's viability has a very short time frame in comparison

Boyd 1 goal........
Enjoy the mill a year on that one.

Oh and well done on your win. Clearly deserved.......
Either we're paying for Griffen this year, or we're not paying Boyd $1 million this year. You can't have both, because that's double dipping.
What we're paying for Griffen this year is effectively what we'd be paying Boyd if we didn't have to compulsory pay him his draft contract salary.

Griff won't even be apart of there first flag tilt

Never been a big name trade that has got away with more than Griffen has, Media has given him a free pass on his pathetic year, don't expect media to mention his disgraceful game again today

It's a shame that Griffen wasn't able to make it down today.
why the f are dogs supporters booing griffin, they should be cheering him because they got boyd out of it…..

Let's just say that Montagna came out and shared some concerns with the club. He and the club talk it out and everything goes well and he wants some time to think about his leadership role even though he'd spent the last three or four months in contact with another club (let's just say Brisbane for this example). He comes back midway through the first week of trade week, said that he wanted to be traded to only Brisbane and then went off the radar again so the Saints couldn't negotiate a trade to another club if the destination club refused to play ball.

In this hypothetical situation, how would you feel about Montagna?

how do you know if they boo'd him or not? Apparently they were going to boo him when he got the ball but I guess we will never know if that was actually going to happen.
