Folding is such a poor example. 2 players on our current list played in the last Rats side, so 92% of our side haven't been involved in a side that's folded.

And allowing other players to join was hardly 'lying there and taking it'. The club made the decision to recruit external players as it would strengthen our squad and add something different to the mix. It's not like we were told we had to take on non-Port posters, and took it without even a whimper.
