Ah Season 11, what a time to be alive it was. I was but a twinkle in everyones eye back then. Or a gathering darkness on the horizon. Depends who you ask, really. But who cares!

What happened in Season 11 for these two clubs?

Well, for the Bears…Nothing. They were still in the wilderness. But for the Furies it was a great season. They climbed to the top and won the big dance. They defeated the then Gumbies, 17.13.115 to 14.11.95. Didn’t pick up any individual awards though.

Fast Forward to Season 20 and the Furies hold the advantage ladder wise, but have struggled in recent weeks with a two game losing streak. They are in danger of losing second place to one of three teams, including the Bears, if they once again fail.

The bears have everything to play for here, a possible top 2 or at least top 4 beckons. If they lose, they’ll possibly be out of the top 8, depending on results elsewhere.

Our tip: Bears by 12
