And what a season it has been in the good ol' TDFL with the new boys on the block (Beechworth Bushrangers) playing the old skool tie (Tallangatta) in the Grand Final..?! Congratulations to both sides on a great season... district football at its best. The cheque book versus the community! Beechworth chock full of locals and Tallangatta adorned with recruits from their nearest suburb - Wodonga.
And as with all Grand Finals a plethora of marble arses gathered around Nero's Feast on the clubrooms wing and not venturing out amongst the long grass and cow manure where us mere mortals are forced to sit.
