Fast Facts

• After the completion of Season 18, goal accuracy has increased 1% and goal ratio percentage is up 6.67% when compared with the end of Season 17.
• Dragons FFC's win against the Mount Buller Demons was the club's 199th SFA home and away fixture. Round 1 of Season 19 will be the Dragons' 200th SFA home and away match.
• Season 18 will be Coney Island Warriors' first finals series. This is also the first time a newly formed club has qualified for the finals since Southern Dragons (now Dragons FFC) in Season 08.
• This is only the fourth time that West Coast Wonders have missed a finals series and their first miss since Season 11. This season also broke the Wonders record of being the only club to participate in all finals series where the SFA has had a top eight system.
• Geelong Gumbies secured their second minor premiership in Season 18, their only previous one was in Season 11.
• Las Vegas Bears received their first wooden spoon for finishing on the bottom of the ladder. Season 18 also represents the first time the Bears have won the wooden spoon.
• In seasons where the SFA has employed a top eight finals series, the premiership has been won from 5th, 6th, 2nd and 4th.
• Average scores decreased slightly in Season 18 dropping by 1.87 points overall.
• Gold City Royals' loss in Round 17 sees the club miss the finals for the third straight season. This is the highest current streak among all SFA clubs.
• Season 18 will be the second time that the Demons and Hawks have met in the first elimination final and is the only previous meeting in a final between the two clubs. The only previous occasion they met was in Season 07 where the Hawks prevailed at a muddy Waverley Park, 8.8 (56) to 6.17 (53).

Did you know? Season 18 was West Coast Wonders' worst season ever finishing with a win-loss record of 5-12 and a finishing position of 11th. Previously the club had finished no lower than 9th and won no fewer than nine games in a season.

I have two ALFs in 3 seasons, Im fairly content for now. Might have to swing into the guts for S19 to add a Mobbs to it, after we win the premiership this season of course.
