Agar would be well above 50 by now if he had some support instead of protecting batsmen. It's got even worse since Hilton came in with Agar largely giving up running because Hilton is injured.
Worst case scenario would have been Hilton in at 9 and Agar getting out snubbing runs. At least Moody lasted a while and allowed Agar to play a more natural game.
Super impressive innings by Ash regardless.

Agar averaging 52.75 with the bat this season. Even more impressive given he bats with spuds a fair bit.

Vics in a strong position, no reason why they can't get 400 in front by the end of the day and give themselves a full day to bowl WA out. Might see some fireworks in the last session.

Victoria might be able to get half an hours bowling in before tea if they can keep the run rate up.
He wants to win the game for Victoria at the moment, and he's doing a good job at it. Fast runs are needed so they have enough time to bowl WA out.
Maxwell out now, another 20 or so runs should be enough IMO.

By my calculations even if they manage it, Victoria will remain on top having done pretty damn well with the Bonus Points whilst WA got bugger all.
