A terrible batting performance by the Bulls against the Tigers, when they were cleaned up for less than 200 in both innings has all but extinguished their finals hopes. The Warriors will be hoping to consolidate their position on top of the table and take advantage of the fact their 2 closest rivals will be facing each other. However, it looks like they will have to battle the weather as well as the Queenslanders.

Last game
  • Queensland 183 (Burns 90*) and 149 (Boyce 65) were defeated by Tasmania 350 (Cutting 4/54) and 9/165 dec. (Hopes 5/59) by 183 runs @ Bellerieve Oval
  • Western Australia 462 (Voges 155, Whiteman 88, North 69) and 2/10 (North 4*, Voges 4*) defeated New South Wales 344 (Behrendorff 5/65) and 126 (Behrendorff 4/35) by 8 wickets @ WACA

Queensland XII squad
  • 39. James HOPES (c)
  • 49. Cameron BOYCE
  • 62. Joe BURNS
  • 58. Luke FELDMAN

  • 4. Usman KHAWAJA
  • 50. Chris LYNN

  • 20. Michael NESER

The Bulls strengthen their batting lineup with the return of Khawaja and Lynn. They lose Cutting to a hamstring tear which opens the door for Gannon to earn a recall.

Nice consistent team for Warriors.

From CA live scoring:
A small delay here with Mitch Marsh getting some attention on what looks like a possible side injury. He is coming off, and Ashton Turner will finish the over.

Bugger - was heading down shortly to the Gabba to watch the evening session and was keen to see Marsh bowl with the older pink ball. Shame for him, but might help Queensland from here.

Yeah the SportFM guys thought it looked fairly bad - but were hopeful that it wouldn't keep him out for the rest of the match (maybe that is just WA wishful thinking). Happened quite quickly, looked like he pulled up badly after a delivery.

3/121, Lynn 55* batting very well.

Any updates on Marsh? Will he be able to bat?
SportFM guys just talked about him, and said they hadn't seen him until then.

But now just re-appearing with a black Warriors polo shirt, on the sidelines. Thinking it unlikely he will bowl, potentially to bat (but left side will make it hard because he is a RHB).
