They wouldn't have to do it, in my idea, but correct me if I'm wrong but they probably benefit from being given the chance to embrace what they once had, since we effectively invaded them and they are still suffering from inter-generational trauma as a result. The world has changed too much to go back entirely obviously, but this could give them more opportunity too, with the skills and knowledge they could attain.

Its a myth to believe the aboriginal people were one great green sustainable culture looking after the land. They destroyed forest, eradicated species etc. Just that there was never enough of them and their way of life very simple limited population growth, to destroy the ecosystem.
