Anyone else just hate Docklands the suburb? It's dreadful, windy, no character, overpriced.

Reckon we should just level it and start again. Replace it with a giant wall to keep the wind out of the real city.

Valid question. Geelong is not in Melbourne, but it is only 50 minutes by train, and by 2024 the Geelong Stadium redevelopment will be completed. It will be a 40,000+ stadium. To see it used for only 8 games per year would be a waste, just as seeing Melbourne play, say, Fremantle before 10,000 spectators at Docklands would be. Its not as thought there has never been a history of ground sharing....

It should at least be used for all of Geelong's home games (11)

The Saints have quite a big dormant supporter base. When they get some sustained success they will attract sizeable crowds to the "G".

Anyway, doubt SS could cope with those number of clubs using the ground.

Always fancied the Bullies playing some games there though.
