Apparently the toilets at Whitten Oval wouldn't be able to handle all that human traffic: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...the-whitten-oval/story-fni5fazt-1227245311750If this is true then they should play it at Whitten oval. Hosted the Tiges last week, the oval is in ripping nick and it's right near where I live!

Just alluded to after completion of an interview with Tendai Mzungu on 6PR as well.
Apparently to do with the fixturing of the FFA (Soccer) Grand Final on May 17 should Melbourne Victory earn the right to host. The FFA wants to use Etihad but it would clash with our game against the Bulldogs so some bright spark has suggested shunting us off to Geelong again. The alternative is that the Victory have to play their grand final interstate (now there's a solution).
Interstate? What's wrong with the shiny new soccer stadium they have there?
It's too little to cope with all the bandwagoners that will want to get on board for a final. Only holds aboiut 30 K.
They think they're going to get more than that at a neutral venue?
They average ~27-28k for a normal game. Then factor in bandwagoners, away fans and corporates they will get way more than AAMI Park's capacity. They will sell out Etihad if they were to get to play there- especially if they play Sydney or Adelaide.
