I think you are right on the money here seems like the competition has grown in teams but the difference between 2nd Div and 1st Div is too close. Back 5 years ago a 2nd Div Team like Mordi would be lucky to come from Div 2 and stay in Div 1. Now Mordi could go all the way to a GF in 1 year. Well done to Mordi!
Go watch the division 1 GF this Sunday the 20th & have a listen to Sam Anstey address his Mordi players & how they play! He's a star & coaches as good as any EFL or premier section animal coach! That's why Mordi have done a St Bede's, PS Anstey played under Luke Beverage at St Bede's!

Hopefully 0. What a flog that bloke is.

The bloke has geniune X Factor, could win the game off his own boot on the weekend. Difficult match up for defenders, too quick for the bigs and too strong for the smalls.

Hands up if you voted Mordialloc for the flag 3 months ago :D

Spewing my man Fyans will miss the GF through suspension, but you can't make mistakes like that. Will be heading down on Sat, hope the weather holds up.

Pretty proud of the Mighty Dingoes! With 5 Premiership Flags in 2015 this achievement must be unprecedented in this competition.
Congratulations on the Coaching Staff, Support Staff and everyone else that has made our club what it is today, the envy of the competition.
Too bad our 1st 18's redemption didn't come against East Brighton, but unfortunately they couldn't make it!

Dingley came to the SFL broke and on the verge of folding in 2007 and have managed to turn this around to 5 flags. They won the 2008 Div 2 flag and since then have slowly progressed in Div 1. They have an excellent junior set up and whilst many do not like them, you have to respect them for how they have managed to pull themselves together as a club. Well done to all at Dingley and well done to Mordialloc for getting to the Grand Final. Hopefully Mordialloc & Toronga Malvern take another step forward next season which will make the competition even stronger. It is pointless complaining about money as every club is guilty, so let's just move on. Dingley now has a huge target on their back and every club now know the standard they need to reach to know to knock them off. Bring on 2016 and look forward to seeing Oakleigh Districts in Div 1 renewing some of their old rivalries!

If they gave out a premiership flag for club most in the red financially, Dingley would have 6 flags in 2015.. Yeah good year dingos
What a tosser you are. Just for your interest all players and coaches are paid up to date and the club has still managed to turn a small profit this year. Don't always believe what your mates, mates sisters uncle told you. Your welcome to attend the AGM next month. Points system won't effect player payments and we only pay what we can afford. There is a budget like all clubs. The Senior Team had 14 Dingley Junior Players in the side on Sunday. Not sure how the points system will look but if it's the same as the MPNFL then Dingley would still come well under with the current team.

If by mates, mates sisters uncle you mean a current coach then yeah.. keep telling yourself whatever you need to buddy! I'd hate to be the bloke in charge of the books

Knowing all our coaches i'm pretty sure they are not running around tell blokes from opposition clubs we are broke or in debt nor would they know the exact financial situation anyway. s**t Slinging is an easy sport, how about just paying a little credit where it's due.

Well, what a great year !!! Congratulations to Mordy on getting so far but the best team this year won the flag
Dingley Football Netball Club have done everything asked of them, and couldn't be in a stronger position with most of the list staying on for next year and many ex jnrs wanting to come back.
They had 14 of the 22 players that played jnrs at the club so on the points system that is a winner
They have the biggest support base and still growing as success does that, and with the club looking to have 8 netball teams plus 6-7 football teams in 2016 they aren't going backwards
So standby for back to back
I would be worried about a lot of the other clubs with so many new coaches coming on next year
Dingley
East Brighton .... New Coach
East Malvern
St Pauls ... New Coach
Mordialloc ???
Clayton
Bentleigh
Cheltenham... New Coach
St Kilda City ....New Coach
Oakliegh Districts

It is actually a positive sign. New coaches tend to provide an infusion of new ideas and recruits. 2016 promises to be an interesting season.
