How many is that in a row for Mount Waverley? 3?
Fantastic effort to get to the GF, but i think Mount has got away from the blow torch too easily. They have become a mentaly fragile club losing 07,09,10,11 and still playing 8 who have played in all 4, i can't see this club winning 1 in the short term unless these players depart the club.

At the end of the day, our club wants to win Premierships.

But you have to give credit to these 8 players for putting our club in a position to think like this.

Not every club has a mindset of actually believing they will make a grandfinal or be the benchmark for the competition each year.

Also, none of these players are getting paid, they are just a bunch of mates who wanted to play footy together.

If they were getting paid, then maybe the club would have to evaluate how much they were paying these players and making sure the club is getting their monies worth... but this isn't the case.

The fact is, these 8 players have managed to play in sides that have made it to 4 grandfinal. Something a lot of other clubs haven't managed to do.

At the end of the day, these players are integral part of a consistent finals team that beat other clubs that actually pay players.

I'd be more worried about the other Div 3 clubs that actually pay players, because that is a joke.

we don't pay anyone down at Keeley Park.. not even our senior coach.. We all play for each other and for the love of our jumper... just a bunch of close mates wanting to succeed together...:D:D:D

Be interesting to see if caufield and ashwood can hang onto a few of there younger players next year dropping a division. Hard to rebuild when you have to play blokes over 45 like some teams have in the past

Brett Evans wont be coach of the Hallam Seniors, its one of the Fredericks from Hampton Park Football Club as the coach. Rumor has it Brett Evans will be playing, with Garth Pickford, Andrew Willams (Ex West Coast & Pies Player) and a few others. If these rumors are true they will be to strong for Div 3.

Great for the comp if true but don't see it happening. That is a fair bit of coin to be spending in your first year as a senior club!
