Obviously based upon the media release put out by the SFL that they are disappointed in the Dragons and felt that the Dragons threw the towel in. Yes the SFL should have done better before allowing them back in but the responsibility lies with 3 parties, the Dragons, SFL and the VAFA who promised the world and left them a shadow of what they promised a few years ago when they won the third div premiership. Many lessons to be learned here. The bye puts pressure on opposing clubs budgets and the SFL should compensate those clubs like CPL who missed out on revenue last week and the clubs in the next few weeks that will be doing the same....
Dragons had 3 teams playing every week last year and their playing stocks were fine at the start of the season. So I fail to see how their demise is the fault of the SFL or the VAFA. Rather than looking for scapegoats how about pointing the finger of blame squarely at those who deserted the club in droves between round 1 and now.
Obviously not ideal that clubs miss out on a game of football and associated revenue but the SFL can hardly be expected to foot the bill on behalf of a club that decided on a particular course of action rather than trying to ride out the rough times.
You have already had the person you referred to as being single-handedly responsible for them moving competitions come on here and set the record straight so maybe you should just leave it at that.
