Sri Lanka v Windies

Don't know if I'm with you here. Hope looks like a dud, Sri Lanka just has a dud pace attack. Is Kieran Powell back playing? He was out for personal reasons but is decent.

No unfortunately, he would be a walk up start, what annoys me is their are many English born West Indies running around in County cricket, who are just being ignored, Chesney Hughes and Keith Barker to name a couple.

Rather than being ignored they're not eligible

They have the option of picking between England and the West Indies as their parents are from the Carribean which makes them eligible to play.

Chris Jordan went the other way and has represented England, whilst Australian Brendan Nash opted to play for the West Indies as his parents were from Jamaica.

Might depend on which country their parents are from.

Nash went to play first class cricket in Jamaica as well

Maybe we should make it Victoria v the Windies.Still think vics would do it pretty easy
Unfortunately you're probably right. Question is, when WILL the Windies become competitive again: the Poms may win the World Cup first :)

Good start by the Windies but Chandermal an Matthews at the crease now, it could be a long partnership if Windies don't break it before lunch.

I remember him & Dwayne Bravo scoring 100s against Warne & Co in Adelaide about a decade ago. Oh how things have changed.
Remember that. Reckon it was at Hobart. Bravo got 100 Ramdin 70 I reckon. Hodge's first test

So SL are debuting a specialist keeper at no. 3...even though he isn't keeping o_O

He seemed to have some very nice shots in his locker. Looks to be a good attacking strokemaker. Hopefully he doesn't get Marvan'd into being a dull, dour, defensive batsman like all of the others in the SL lineup.

Ol' mate Kraigg ripping through the SL team with his part time offies. The international equivalent of your chain smoking club vice president stealing the win for you.

Didn't even know he bowled, has taken one Test wicket prior to this (four years ago), randomly takes 6/29.

Must feel weird to be a full-time spinner like Bishoo or Warrican, and have an opening batsman get more out of the prime spinning conditions than you can.

Not strictly openers, but know there's been a few instances where this has happened involving Australia - Clarke in Mumbai and Katich, Bevan and Border all in Sydney.
