Not good enough today -- or maybe we should say the offense weren't good enough. Got the consecutive point streak to 86 ... and we restricted the apparent NFC's best to four field goals. So much to build on for next year --- need a decent QB -- and for Bailey to catch the ball.

Britt was good -- but am getting frustrated with Schotty , Tavon Austin is not being given the ball enough !!!

Haven't been able to watch that much Rams this year, but are you guys always that cheap and dirty as an organisation. What a disgrace that was. Cheap high shots on a rookie 5 yards out of bounds after the play is over.

As Jameel McClain said, that cheap s**t dont make you tough

Embarrassing, OBJ takes another team to the cleaners :$

It's finally happening!

Inglewood stadium construction begins, sort of

While the football stadium Stan Kroenke owns continues to reside in St. Louis, the football stadium he intends to own in Los Angeles has begun to be built. Sort of.

Per David Hunn of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, earth is being moved at the site of the now-closed Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. City officials have a simple philosophy.

“This is ‘Field of Dreams’ stuff,” Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts told Hunn. “Build it and they will come.”

So who’s they? The most obvious candidate at this point is the Rams.

“If you have the most modern, the most beautiful NFL stadium in the world, you’re not going to have any problem populating it,” Butts said. “If the NFL wants to migrate here, we would welcome it.”

Kroenke obviously wants to migrate the Rams to the new stadium, a relocation that could happen as soon as 2016. Even without 23 other owners approving the move, Kroenke could move the team and force his partners to try to stop him.

Relocating the Rams or another NFL isn’t the only hurdle. Rezoning is needed to permit a football stadium to be constructed, through vote of the City Council or a public ballot. But for a town that already has lost the Lakers and Kings to downtown L.A., that should be the easiest part of the project.

Hill Reportedly Has Offer from Vikings; Cowboys and Raiders Also Interested

Monday, March 9

"Shaun Hill has an offer from the Vikings; and will be in touch with them later today," reported ESPN.com's Ben Goessling. Yesterday, Goessling reported that Hill is on the radar for a few different teams, but that the Minnesota Vikings were leading the pack.

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the Cowboys and Raiders were also interested.

If Hill does go to Minnesota, then his career would be coming full circle. The Vikings signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2002, and he appeared in one regular-season game in 2005 before joining the Amsterdam Admirals and subsequently reigniting his NFL career.

:( but at the same time :)

Eagles acquire QB Sam Bradford and a 2015 fifth-round pick for Rams QB Nick Foles, a 2015 sixth-rounder and a 2016 second-rounder.

Time will tell --- but at the moment I am extremely pleased with this deal. :D

Keeping tabs on Rams' pre-draft visits

Nick Wagoner
ESPN St. Louis Rams reporter

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The 30 pre-draft visits that each NFL team can have with incoming prospects have begun all over the league. Each team takes a different approach to the process.

For example, in Detroit, the Lions willingly share which prospects are visiting on which days and put that information out there for the public via their in-house reporter. As you'd expect with what St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher would call a "competitive" thing, the Rams are more secretive.

But in this day and age of social media and various other means, names tend to leak out, whether it's before, during or after a visit. Some players announce it on their Twitter or Instagram accounts. Some agents confirm visits and many offer a list at their respective pro days.

Although we don't know for sure exactly when the Rams started hosting prospects at Rams Park, some names have been put out there in the past week or so.

With that in mind, here's a look at the players believed to have visited. Some have been confirmed, some have not -- but it's safe to say that this team is hunting offensive linemen. Fisher essentially said as much as the owners meetings when he acknowledged the team's needs on the line and said this draft class was rich in offensive line prospects.

That's just a sample of the players expected to visit or those that already have. Keep in mind, these 30 visits don't mean a lot in the grand scheme. It certainly can be an indicator of interest, but taking it much beyond that is probably going too far. For example, the Rams have six picks in this draft. Of the names listed above, with the exception of Brown, it's entirely possible the Rams might have a chance to draft only one of those players.

The pre-draft visits also can be a chance for teams to clean up any leftover work they didn't get done at the Senior Bowl, scouting combine or during the season. They can get questions answered, have medical staff meet with prospects and can conduct just about anything else short of a workout.

Also, teams are entitled to visit with local prospects who played or are from within a certain radius of the team's facility. Safety Maurice Alexander, who played at Utah State but is from the area, took such a visit last year before the Rams drafted him in the fourth round.

So probably the weirdest draft I've seen by the Rams for a while.

Wasn't excited at first by our draft strategy and I still prefer to build up on what we had instead of an offensive redesign however it could work out in the future. I have seen this draft rated as the best by some expects to the worst by others. This was a draft by Fisher for Fisher so Fisher can do what a Fisher does.

#1. Rams continue to go for the HoF RB from Dickerson, Bettis, Faulk, SJax (Hopefully) to now Gurley. I see this more as a marketing move and giving the team a new identity then a team move as stupid as it sounds. Definitely aligns with Jeff Fisher's style and I could see it working as backing Lynch works for the Seahawks but it could take a while.
#2. O-Line looks exciting and I hope it works however it could be a few years until it is scary.
#3. This all means we are in a rebuilding phase for ANOTHER couple of years. Expect us to say our farewell to Long, Laurinaitis, Dunbar and Hayes over the next year or so as we go even younger.
#4. Team is building up the hype for a return to LA - just saying.
#5. Don't know about Mannion as the future of the franchise ... he could be our next Wilson or Brady I guess and does fit into the teams plans.

This was probably the shitty draft we needed to create the type of football Fisher wants and to build around. Hoping after this we kiss our offensive issues goodbye.
