So after having such a strong second year membership wise when we finished with 12,705 members and had over 200 more members then the Suns its good to see we have made a solid start with our 2014 membership and hopefully we will have a major kick along with our membership after the trade period when we bring in some quality experienced players.

So now up to 1,850 and it seems we are tracking a bit less then at the same point with the 2013 membership numbers, and no doubt some people are waiting to see what experienced players we bring thru the door during the trade period before they sign on the dotted line.

i'm sure the Giants will get 15,000 members next season add Buddy Franklin and that could nudge up towards 18-19,000 i reckon

Now up to 3,418 but a fair bit down on the same point last year where by Nov 6 we had 4,000 and were actully hitting close to 5, 000 by the end of Nov last year. Which is odd because there really wasn't a good reason for the influx of members we had last year as we were looking at the 2nd year blues and the only experienced players we brought in were Gilham & Thornton. While for season 2014 there is genuine reason to be some what possitive with the likes of Shaw, Mumford, Hunt, Addison & Lamb coming plus more young guns such as Boyd & Kelly. As well as things stepping up this preason with more intense training & more coaches joining with a focus on player development. So I would expect a kick along in the numbers once supporters can see we are in alot better shape then we were in 2013.

Expect to see a spike in the next release of numbers. Ours just rolled over automatically with confirmation coming in the mail this afternoon. I would imagine a lot of other members would be in the same boat.

Between 10,000-12,000 is the likely number, 15,000 won't happen until we become a competitive side. So maybe 15,000 in 2015
