Since losing to Hawthorn we're 3-3, but we've won 16 out of 24 quarters in that time.

Jack Steven's 16 disposals were his lowest total in a St Kilda win since Round 15, 2012.

The crowd was the lowest for a St Kilda match at the MCG since Round 7, 2002.

Some more statistical nuggets

Mav Weller
First 54 games: 6 goals
Last 8 games: 12 goals

In two full games against St Kilda this season, Jeff Garlett has 10 total disposals.

On the players currently on the St Kilda list, only Leigh Montagna, Nick Riewoldt and Sam Fisher have played in a loss to Melbourne.

Before this year, Jack Steven's best average tackles per game in a season was 4.65 which was last year. In 2015 to date he's averaging 7.44 tackles per game.

Nick Riewoldt has 8 double-digit mark games this year, which is the same total as last year when he was All Australian CHF and Vice Captain.

Adam Schneider has one career hit out (Round 16 2011 v Port Adelaide).

Stats update Round 18:

4 - 8 (11.1%)
5 - 6 (8.3%)
6 - 4 (5.6%)
7 - 3 (4.2%)
8 - 2 (2.8%)

Since being drafted, St Kilda is 0-8 without Luke Dunstan in the side.

Jack Steven is still second in the tackle tally, only 4 tackles behind Priddis. He's also second on the Fantasy points, only half a point on average behind Goldstein (although Armo has dropped to fifth).

Even with a week off, Billy is still fifth on the hitouts for the year.

Bruce may not be setting the world on fire any more this season, but he's still on 43 goals, which makes him 7th on the Coleman tally, with Betts, Wingard and Jack Riewoldt only one ahead of him at 44, and him only two behind Buddy at 45. Even if he just keeps getting his customary 1 goal a game that he's been getting recently, he'll get very close to 50 goals for the season - and if somebody had told you that at the start of the season, I know I would have been pretty happy.

Stats update Round 20:
2015 goals (by game): 11, 16, 10, 12, 11, 14, 10, 12, 16, 10, 12, 7, 25, 6, 10, 12, 6, 8, 11. Average score 81.

4 - 8 (10.5%)
5 - 6 (7.9%)
6 - 4 (5.3%)
7 - 3 (3.9%)
8 - 2 (2.6%)

St Kilda are 4-5 this year when leading at quarter time.

Just having a look for no reason whatsoever; but 2002 was the last season to go by without us beating a top four team.

And we've beaten the dogs this year already with swans and Eagles to come.

I don't expect to win any of those so let's go dogs! Keep that run going!
