The AFL got tough on high contact this week. Sent a message to the rest of the league that contact above the shoulder will be dealt with very harshly. It doesn't matter if you are from a little 'irrelevant' club up in Brisbane or a Bondi millionaire from Sydney, penalties were harsh!

And the AFL yet again proves that we have the single worst tribunal system in world sport, with knee jerk reactions depending on what happened the previous week. No wonder it is becoming a joke of a competition with double standards depending on who you play for.
WOW! and here i was thinking he must have killed the bloke to get more than The Swans duo. Plus there footage is much more conclusive.

The more I think about it the more annoyed I am. Very unclear vision of the incident. Steph clearly goes for a body check and slips a bit high. Player bounces back pretty quick and appears relatively uninjured.
Expected a fine, maybe a week at most.
Three down to two is a complete joke.
Did Brown require surgery? Will he miss some games? What gives?
