The experts are just searching the place where the highest probability is. Its all they can do really unless they go back in time.
A US official says air safety investigators have a “high degree of confidence” that a photo of aircraft debris found in the Indian Ocean is of a wing component unique to the Boeing 777, the same model as the Malaysia Airlines plane that disappeared last year.
A piece of wreckage has been found on an island in the Indian Ocean.
Pretty sure the debris has been floating around for for a long time and the plane didn't crash anywhere near Reunion.
But does indicate that all the original guesses of where the plane went down west of WA are in the ballpark.View attachment 157612
due to the time and distances we are talking about, it's still gives only a guess at best
correct. But does indicate that all the original guesses of where the plane went down west of WA are in the ballpark.
Can't see it really helping to pinpoint a location though.
Yeah I read somewhere that there are two others known missing planes from recent times that it could be from. Also read that Boeing use a different paint to what this piece of debris was coated inWas tongue-in-cheek. Remains to be seen whether the wreckage was even from MH370.
All boeing parts have serial numbers on them. If this is from MH370, the people that need to know already know. The fact that they haven't disclosed this yet, makes me think this is a part from the plane, and they're letting the people that need to know first e.g. Malaysian Airlines, the families etc.
That would be funny if it was possible.. but its' not. It's 100% a flapperon from a large jetKinda funny if this turns out to be is just a random piece of junk ;/

Looks a hell of a lot like a trippler one too. Also doesn't look like it's been in the water too long. That would be funny if it was possible.. but its' not. It's 100% a flapperon from a large jet
Yep. 99% sure it's a 777 one. The amount of shells on it is the best indicator of how long it's been in the water. A control surface like that is specially treated to be tough & not rust because they're a bit important when it comes to flying the plane.Looks a hell of a lot like a trippler one too. Also doesn't look like it's been in the water too long.
