Strange Football stories in old Newspapers (1930's and 40's)

I have been researching Aussie rules in old newspapers and have collected a number of strange stories along the way, including:

• Player hit by goal post
• Lost trousers
• Near Drownings
• Hitting two goal-posts with the one kick
• Entire team reported
• Player blows whistle for an unconscious umpire
• 4 play 18 as 14 players dont want to play in the rain
• Women stabs umpire with her hat pin.

They are old newspaper clippings cut out from newspapers on trove. Some are a bit blurry but overall some might find them worth a read.
