In wrestling terms it was known widely as "The Montreal Screw Job" where Vince McMahon conspired with Sean Michaels to screw Bret Hart out of the title as he was leaving for WCW. The orignal deal was that Bret was supposed to retain the title and give it up the next day but Vince changed the script in the ring while the fight was on. Kind of mirrors the weekends officiating. If you watch the documentary Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows its all talked about in there. Great doco!
