This is the same strategy I chose last year and failed miserably! at least half the team is mine from last year.

is i

In typical Robbie Gray fashion, started the post well, got a few words in and then suffered a crippling injury and couldn't finish his post.

Who looks the better out of these two atm, Zaharakis or Martin? Leaning to Zaharakis as I'm still treating my burns left from Martin this year.

With the number of pure forwards or defenders on the decline, SuperCoach sides will now feature six defenders, six forwards, two rucks and eight midfielders - a cut of one forward and defender and an increase of two onballers on previous years.
There will still be two bench players in each position to make up a 30-man squad, but coaches will from next year have the ability to name four emergencies every week, up from three.
The change will allow an emergency in each position and will help combat the rising number of late team changes.
But the biggest weapon for SuperCoach players against the AFL coaches who want to keep their opponent in the dark is the new rolling lockout.

Wow 30 trades!!!

DT, SC same thing.
This isn’t confirmed yet, but if it’s the way they go… Hallelujah! Something had to be done after last season, and I’m be super glad if it isn’t something gimmicky like Temporary Trades or Average Scores or something like that.
Basically, over the MBR’s, only our Best 18 scorers will contribute to our weekly score. If you have all 22 field positions covered, tough luck. Your highest 18 scorers are the only one who matter, irrespective of position. This means that we still have to plan somewhat for the MBRs, taking care not to pick too many players from any one Bye Round. What it does mean, is that we don’t have to worry about limiting byes within positional lines – unlike last season, where we were pigeon-holed into selecting or avoiding certain players because you’d already selected too many or not enough players in the position from that particular bye round. Wow, it’s exhausting just saying it.
Best 18 still involves an element of skill to select a well-balanced squad (and one that can be transformed cleverly over the MBRs), while keeping it simple enough for the casual DTers to navigate.
Basically, if this is the way it goes (and we think it will) then it will be awesome.
Ablett, Pendles, Murphy midfield back on :thumbsu:.

This 6 DEF and 6 FWD has completely ****ed with my structure. I don't know how many premiums/rookies to have in my mids now.

I had 3/1/4 as my structure initially with Ablett, Pendles, Murphy, Mundy, Wines, Crouch (Omeara, Viney) but know I'm not sure what to do. Might make Mundy and ultra premium and add another two rookies, still has completely made any work I had done on my team irrelevant.

I guess I only have 4 months to fix it:rolleyes:

Rucks: Cox, Leuenberger

Nic Nat in the forwardline.

I'm still liking Goldy in the rucks.

Bartel, Thomas, Rockliff all available as forwards. Niiiiice.

Might be the first year I don't have a dogs player in my team.

Might sneak Hrovat on the pine if names round one.
