Miz and Mizdow winning the tag titles was enough for me to lose my s**t. I don't care how many slip ups were in the match! Mizdow has a title!
I still prefer to think of him as the intellectual saviour of the masses.

Never watched WCW in my life and still marked the * out over String!

Overall an average PPV that was saved by the last twenty minutes and by god that was a good twenty minutes.

Good to see Ziggler getting the spotlight though would've preferred Cena to not come out and celebrate.

Paige was also a highlight.

I know this is nitpicking but I don't understand the logic behind having 3-1 in the Authority's favor and not trying to get Ziggler counted out when he was already down and out. I know from an entertaining perspective that's boring but I like booking to be logical. They can get away with it if it's 3-1 in the faces favor because they win the honorable way but not when the heels are out in front. End nitpicking.

And that says a lot for being able to use your absence to build hype.

This probably belongs in the "unpopular opinions" thread - but hype is really all Sting is. If it weren't for his matches with Ric Flair no one would know who he was, because while he had some good matches with guys like Vader, Cactus Jack and Barry Windham, he would have been completely insignificant if it weren't for the Flair match(es).

He then caught on with a hot angle as The Crow at the right time (ie. when WCW needed a saviour) - but I defy you to find me even a 4 star match that he had as The Crow Sting. And none of that happens without Flair anyway.

Yes, it was Flair's job to make new stars, and you could probably say the same about plenty of other guys, who were only really relevant when they were with Flair.

But the Sting hype train just drives me insane, because Steve Borden himself has driven it for so long.

This. He's really just a lot of puff and bluster. In a way, that's all pro wrestling is in general, but yeah, he doesn't really deliver much beyond situations like the one we saw on the PPV. Credit to him though, he's gotten a fair bit of longevity out of the character, even if the actual wrestling part of things isn't particularly great.

That main event was awesome. Ziggler performed it to perfection and I marked out like crazy at Sting.

Feel like its the perfect time for a Cena heel turn with all the faces they have now.

Bryan
Reigns
Ambrose
Orton
Ziggler

Do it WWE. Freshen things up.

Cena to come out tomorrow, and put the Authority back in power straight away, turning heel and joining them. :thumbsu:

I hope the fact that Cena is the only one that can give them back their roles doesn't end up as an arse kissing storyline.

I haven't stopped marking out today. HOLY s**t, I still can't believe Sting stepped into a WWE ring!!:cry::thumbsu:

Ziggler's win reminded me a lot less of a Cena win, and a lot more of a Shawn Michaels win. He makes you believe that he can actually lose at any given time, and it looks like every move kills him, whereas with Cena you're just wondering when he'll pop up and hit the AA because he's not going to get pinned.

I can't explain how much I would mark out if this happened.

He doesn't even need to change his character, would be perfect as a heel.
