List Mgmt. Swans Best 22 for 2015

I don't care if it's less than an hour after the game finished, I'm pissed off, tired and am posting this thread.

B: Nick Smith, TRADE*, Dane Rampe
HB: Nick Malceski, Heath Grundy, Alex Johnson
C: Harry Cunningham, Tom Mitchell, Dan Hannebery
HF: Ben McGlynn, Lance Franklin, Kieren Jack
FF: Caleb Daniel**, Kurt Tippett, Tim Membrey
F: Mike Pyke, Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker
I/C: Dane Rampe, Isaac Heeney***, Jake Lloyd, Jarrad McVeigh

*A midfielder needs to be traded for a key defender.
**Okay, so this one is a reaaaallllyyy long shot. Especially considering how underrated he is and the fact that he might not get drafted, but a 166cm small forward would be perfect for us. Plus, the kid is a jet.
***He's meant to be ready-made. Get him in there.

You'll notice some key outs.

I think out from todays team needs to be

Goodes
Shaw
Malceski
Jetta

We also desperately need a new young key defender. Can Sam Reid become that? Perhaps we could move McVeigh to the half back position and have him play there full time.

Also I would like to change our midfield. Other than Kennedy, Parker and Mitchell every midfielder we have should be on the trade table to see what sort of offers we get.

Honestly, I think sam Reid is too fragile to play down back full time. He would get eaten down there

AJ will not play next year at all
mal will be gone
membury will be gone

You have rampe twice.

I have a feeling there will be some more moves after that.

horse recognises the need for pace to beat Hawthorn, as Port showed, so there will be interesting moves to inject it.

I'd really hope Horse is going to be playing Reid in the backline for the entire preseason. Heeney/Lloyd/Hewett/Robinson to battle it out for a spot at the start of next season. Would love to be a fly on the wall in Jetta's exit interview.

Oh that's right. Forgot he did it again. Poor kid. :(
Yeah, I plan on editing after trade week.
Surely we can convince him otherwise with Goodes most likely gone and Reid hopefully out of the forward line?
Whoops.
Yep. Just figured I'd start the thread. Definitely edit it throughout trade week.

in my rather numb state:

B: Nick Smith, Pruess*, Dane Rampe
HB: Nick Malceski, Heath Grundy, Jarrad McVeigh
C: Harry Cunningham, Tom Mitchell, Dan Hannebery
HF: Jake Lloyd, Lance Franklin, Kieren Jack
FF: Ben McGlynn, Kurt Tippett, Tim Membrey
F: Mike Pyke, Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker
I/C: Dane Rampe, Isaac Heeney, Lewis Jetta** , Gary Rohan

*Pruess, man crush on him but a 200cm 102kg 'ruck' who looks more comfortable in the back line
** Yes, s**t game to day but we need his run. Don't let 1 game blind you

Edit: Forgot Rohan. Put him in for Biggs

Goodes and Reid definitely out from today's side. I assume Mal will go as well. Mitchell must be in. Goodness knows who else.

Yeh Goodes will go, he was great today i thought in a losing cause but like Shaw has nothing left to give.

Shaw will, in my opinion, make a great coach - club must keep him

You guys are all ready to ease Ted Richards? He wasn't great, but he had mates.

Where is Kieren Jack's best position? Has his brother, Brandon, got a chance?

Ted is just about done - lost that prvebial yard.

Kizza? After today - sub

Brandon - god knows. I am not sure I could answer intelligently at the moment anyway.

Our best 22 is exactly the team that played yesterday, unless Shaw or Goodes retires. We had no injuries. If you want to watch the best 22 according to the coaches, just watch a replay of yesterday's game.

Wont win another Flag until they seriously learn how to hit targets by foot.

Dead set one of the worst kicking sides in the comp. ( Learn how to kick )

Who ever says that yesterday was a one off with our skills are full of it , this has been an issue all year.

Turn over after turn over.

Midfield lacks class , in and under but no class.

Get a KD and Teddy plays 3rd tall.

Reid needs to do far more , lost puppy and please stop making excuses for him.

Bye
Shaw
Goodes

Grundy was disgraceful yesterday. Worse than Ted, I actually thought Ted was alright.
Jones, Mitchell, Heeney, key back, pacey midfielder all need to come into the the side.
How that happens and who misses out, I dot know.
Does Hewatt have good pace?
Guys I think need to come out of the side are
Goodes retire although was one of our best today.
Shaw
Malceski will almost def be lost in FA week.
Reid, pathetic today and given us little all year.
Ted prob retire, can't play him and Grundy together anymore against good sides.

Why this call for pace? Rohan, Cunningham, Jetta, McGlynn were some of our worst yesterday. Lets have some effort and skill.
Sorry I should have quantified the bit about pace, pacey but with elite kicking skills. No idea where we can get that from.
Hewitt seems like the type we need, elite skills.
