One thing is though a few more should be taking part in pre season heading into 2015.

Buddy , Tippett , Reid , Rohan , Jetta , Mitchell , Grundy all had limited pre seasons. No excuse for Saturday though

One thing for sure, we can't have all of Buddy, Tippo, Goodes & Reid v Hawks and probably Port next year. Against every other team it is not an issue.

Looking at our losses this year they were stinkers overall and most had a real lazy arrogant feel

Hawks round 18 margin flattered us but compared to saturday we at least put in

Completely agree here. I think we have the most arrogant team, especially midfield in the AFL and they do turn up to games thinking they have already won and they play like they think it is their natural right to win the game. If that assumption is correct then I do not think our clubs culture is as good as a lot of people like to think it is as Geelong a few years ago never did that when they had a top side. They never went into games thinking they had already won and then played really lazy football.

Midfield lacks class , in and under but no class.

Get a KD and Teddy plays 3rd tall.

I honestly think the coaches know we need to improve our disposal by foot. Lloyd and Cunningham are 2 of our better users and they're getting a game ahead of someone as talented as Mitchell.

We need to trade one of our inside mids (yes, even Tom Mitchell) for some more class.

I can't see Richards playing that third tall role. Surely Longmire persists with the Rampe/ Rohan type that can rebound.

We will lose a lot of run with Richards in that role.

Gunston and Rampe are 1 and 1 in duels so far I believe.

I was thinking more structure wise. 4 talls + ruck doesn't work when we have to chase tail for half the game.

IF Shaw pulls it I guess Jones fills the need there.

If Reid shouldn't get a seagull spot neither should Macca. He either plays midfield and gets his hands dirty or not at all. We can't have a horrid defender just for his ball use. Lets see what the kids can do, give Biggs a crack at it.

Nice team but I don't see us getting Frawley, Ryder (all but gone to Port Adelaide) or Dangerfield

I wouldn't mind someone like Jonathan Giles as ruck depth...he's 26, mature body, competition for Pyke
