Goodes retired partly because he did not want to deal with this s**t anymore and even after retiring it is still being brought up.

He should have retired 2 years ago because he turned in to a list clogger.

Is the kid racist or not? If Hawks recruited him he would be for sure, right?

The Herald Sun making an article over this is standard. They cater to the rank & file and do anything to get a headline. It isn't journalism, it's just whining trivial nonsensical banter. Unfortunately it's what the public like.
Click bait, much like the OP.

The ball's entirely in Leonardis's court.

I would imagine that, having just closed the book on one of the longest and most distinguished careers in AFL/VFL history, Mr Goodes has better things to do than pop down to his old club to try to convince some misguided punk who has played exactly 372 games less than him (and may never play a game of senior AFL), that he (Goodes) is actually the exact opposite of a tosser.

So the kid likes a few pages on facebook, big deal - If Goodes didn't carry on like a pork chop those pages wouldn't exist.

Harley stressed the ‘likes’ on Facebook dated from February this year. They interviewed Leonardis in the lead up to the draft but clearly didn’t check his Facebook page like many prospective employers do. Harley said he was confident the teenager would learn from his mistake.

Swans epic fail

You've got a problem bruh...

Because IT IS NOT OK TO BOO OR DISLIKE ADAM GOODES... ADAM GOODES IS A PROUD INDIGENOUS MAN AND IT IS RACIST TO HAVE A NEGATIVE OPINION OF HIM...

OR MAYBE YOU ENJOY ENFORCING YOUR WHITE PRIVILEGE ON ETHNIC MINORITIES...

WHAT'S UP... WHAT'S UP BRUH...

The only reason why this is 'news' is because of the reactions of the Swans to anything remotely considered anti-Goodes, but apparently when it's coming from one of their own players it doesn't count.

Nah, it's a story because it's funny.

People with a political agenda want it to be something more because they do that with literally everything.

Had it been Collingwood drafting a kid that barracked for St Kilda & that kid liked a "Eddie's a fat prick" facebook page (as they would), it's a funny story worth reporting.

Christ it's not like the kid liked a KKK page.
