Fighting Furies Vs Mount Buller Demons
The Furies are coming off a below par season and will be stealing themselves for a tough Round 1 match up. Captain Equus wielded the axe in the off-season and has recruited some gems, Nuffers being one while the recruit of Eagleoz83 was a masterstroke. The club is stacked with good players. BILC, FilthySanchez and tigland wil lbe working harder than ever. During the preparation for the season the Furies suffered a massive blow with Fumbles deciding to hang the boots up. Equus will need to find someone to fill that void as it will hurt them.The off-season for the Demons has seen more questions raised of their Captain Juggalo Balla.The club has refused to give anything away and appears to be going forward as one. Another set back is the 12 week suspension of rookie Mr_Zero for a serious rule infringement. Aside from that the Demons are looking the goods. Their main core of players, Eth, Logger and Rhodesy_Blues are class acts and will get heavy attention from the Furies. Eth and BILC going head to head could be an amazing match up.
Players to watch:
BILC (Furies): The club is due for a Mobbs medalist and BILC could be their man. He is a hard match up and it is likely the Demons will send their best to play an attacking role on him.
Juggalo Balla (Demons): The Captain has the pressure on him and will want to set them up for a big season with a Round 1 victory. Can play multiple positions and will be giving his all in this game to kick start their year.
