Both teams have a large influx of new players.

Well, when I say new, I mean old or existing. While there are newbies added to each list, the Hawks have gained a number of big names from other clubs (Plugg5r, Farrand, Itsmyshow, etc), while the Roys have re-attained the services of a number of old stagers from their halcyon years (Seasons 3 through 7).

Both captaincies have been affected by change, with boncer34 taking over the reins from Biggie at the Hawks, while Mobbenfuhrer has become a lot more trim (read wasting away).

The Hawks are the winningest of all current clubs, with the best win/loss ratio from premiership matches. They also have a rough time with Hawkiwobbles, losing three Grand Finals while winning one. The Gorillas are the opposite, having the worst win/loss ratio, but a 100% Grand Final success ratio.





Special note for ljp86: The player credited with inventing the Chudshake in a back-paddock tin shed, Itsmyshow, has recently transferred from the Roys to East Side. While he didn't seem to require ownership/licence of the chudshake concoction, he is the proud recipient of a lifetime supply of the Roys staple diet despite no longer playing there. There are ruours that the drink was not the only "production" to occur in that back-paddock tin shed, with stories abounding that the shack was alternatively known as "Itsmyshowroom". As a result, a limited edition "Pre-Chud" contraceptive form of the product will be made available at the ground for this match only. I will be raffling 3 forms of Pre-Chud based on one ticket per fact a person has attended. Multiple attendances do not gain multiple tickets. Draw will occur on the day of the match.
- First prize - Packet of 52 Pre-Chud contraceptives.
- Second prize - Chud-After package, with tube of De-chud, ankle shackles with shower-ceiling bolts, and a six-religion prayer-book.
- Third prize - Informational self-help book "Withchudall - Take It To The Limit (But Without One More Time)"

I'm not on top of SFA history, but I assume any form of 'wobbles' generally wouldn't be kicking in for the first game of the pre-season.
