The move of cooney from Full Forward to the engine room has been a masterstroke for the Demons as cooney has found his Mobbenfuhrer medal winning form and, in turn, has secured his 2nd SweetRankings player of the week title. This time in his teams loss to the Swamprats.
The Demons veteran again gave his all in the match thread and racked up a game high 38 possessions, 6 marks and laid 4 crunching tackles to be the best player of that encounter. Is a second Mobbs medal heading Cooneys way?
