First question... does he have standing? If he doesn't have skin in the game or represent someone who does how can he lodge a writ against the AFL? It's like me complaining to the Supreme Court that my mate's mother-in-law is a nasty piece.

Maybe? This clown's had a crack under the ol' misleading or deceptive conduct in trade or commerce prohibition, which is focussed on the conduct more than who it effects. We all have a stake in ensuring corporate morality after all.

If he's seeking an injunction to prevent the AFL from doing this again (lol how and when?), he may standing as pretty much anyone and everyone could theoretically have standing to prevent someone else bullshitting for commercial gain. Almost as a matter of principle.

But otherwise I can't see he has standing - he can't say he's suffered a loss that needs to be compensated, nor is he the regulator...so yeah those remedies don't help him.

In the meantime, he's got his name in the paper, which of course is every ambulance chaser's objective. Not sure how the impending costs order is going to sit with him when the AFL roll out their QC's to blitzkreig his writ...

Who is he representing or is he just a * supporter in a certain Egyptian River ?

Crazy as it sounds, sometimes I get this odd feeling that not everyone on here is genuinely sympathising with * and are actually engaging in misleading or even deceptive conduct. If this is the case, I hope the legal dream team of Martin Hardie and Jackson Taylor has managed to get hold of your first AND last name and sues you down to your last trolley.

Just stumbled across this one:
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-08-21/victorian-archives-prison-records-online/6715032

Of particular note was the following:
"One of faces that has intrigued Mr Shelford is that of Elizabeth Elburn whom, he said, "was responsible for one of Melbourne's great horrific mysteries".

In the 1890s Elburn left her husband Carl von Ledebur, a former Essendon Football Club trainer, criminal and quack doctor who specialised in "electro-therapeutics" and injecting patients with fluids from animal testicles."

Cheating bastards have been up to it for over a century. No more sympathy from me!

Fletcher pulls the plug. Love this seemingly non-ironic Tweet:

Well maybe he should've piped up and said something when Dank was pumping him and his team mates full of God knows what.

Post a reply!

Maybe he did.

Maybe he said "If *Jimmeh says it's fine, then it's fine with me"

I'm not on Twitter, saw the Tweet in The Age report. BigFooty is about the extent of my social media presence. Anyway, I don't think that "get f***ed you lying, cheating campaigners" would be a particularly witty riposte (although I note that it is less than 140 characters).

I assume that you can't reply because you've been blocked by *.

A finals sympathy bump for the premature Mad Monday celebrators *, who are pondering end of season trip destinations.

Lol!

Another destination would be here - the perfect spot to establish *Jamestown:

Geez they've been at it for over a century!

BUMP back to the 1st page.

It's official Carlisle has told * he wants out and the flogs on the * board have turned on him.

One flog is suggesting Carlton and * swap pick 4 and Carlisle for pick 1. That would be fair, or maybe Carlton could just keep pick 1 and get him in the PSD for nothing.
