I honestly thought he'd struggle to get to 20, but he's left me thinking his best football is still ahead of him and could prove crucial to our chances of top 4 in the coming seasons.
Yep and he is only 24!

Seems like only last week we did this! :p

Another ten goals for Walker, in only two matches, a super effort. A fair few interesting changes in the stats as well! First up is the goal assist tally, where we see that Betts, after only entering the prestigious list in the previous video, has already skyrocketed to 13th position with 5 assists - three more in this package alone. Crouch also makes his debut on the list in sparkling fashion, contributing three Walker goals to move immediately into the top half of the list. Douglas continues to hold onto his narrow lead up top, with he and Wright contributing one each - he's now been on top of the ladder for seven straight videos since taking the mantle from Wright with 10 assists some 70 goals back.

Goal Assists:

1. Douglas - 18
2. Wright - 16
3. Petrenko - 12
4. Vince (O) - 11
5. Van Berlo - 11
6. Dangerfield - 10
7. Mackay - 9
8. S. Thompson - 9
Opposition turnover - 9
9. Sloane - 8
10. Tippett (O) - 5

Two new names on the secondary list with Laird and Grigg hopping aboard - Grigg actually contributes twice, each time by handing the ball to Crouch, so anyone looking to create a Grigg2Crouch username is looking the goods! Funnily enough the top 4 players didn't contribute a single secondary assist so the top of the ladder is a bit stagnant, although opposition turnover and umpire bounce continue to tick over steadily.

Opposition turnover/free against - 28
Umpire bounce/hitout - 17
1. S. Thompson - 16

In the prestigious "which team are the Walker's biggest bunnies" comp, Brisbane make a leap from 5th to 2nd in the overall stakes, and 6th to 3rd in the goals per game stakes after coughing up six snags to big Tex. Strangely, Tex had played less games against West Coast than any other side besides GWS before round 19. Walker now averages more than 2 goals per game against more than half the teams in the competition.

Goals per team:

1) Fremantle - 26 (from 8)
2) Brisbane - 21 (from 7)
3) Port Adelaide - 20 (from 7)
4) Hawthorn - 17 (from 6)
5) Gold Coast - 14 (from 3)
6) Essendon - 14 (from 5)
7) Geelong - 12 (from 5)
8) North Melbourne - 9 (from 4)
9) Western Bulldog - 8 (from 4)
10) St Kilda - 8 (from 5)
11) Richmond - 7 (from 3)
12) West Coast - 7 (from 3)
13) Melbourne - 7 (from 5)
14) Carlton - 7 (from 5)
15) Sydney - 6 (from 4)
16) Collingwood - 6 (from 5)
17) Greater Western Sydney - 1 (from 2)

1) Gold Coast - 4.67 (from 3)
2) Fremantle - 3.25 (from 8)
3) Brisbane - 3 (from 7)
4) Port Adelaide - 2.86 (from 7)
5) Hawthorn - 2.83 (from 6)
6) Essendon - 2.8 (from 5)
7) Geelong - 2.4 (from 5)
8) Richmond - 2.33 (from 3)
9) West Coast - 2.33 (from 3)
10) North Melbourne - 2.25 (from 4)
11) Western Bulldog - 2 (from 4)
12) St Kilda - 1.6 (from 5)
13) Sydney - 1.5 (from 4)
14) Melbourne - 1.4 (from 5)
15) Carlton - 1.4 (from 5)
16) Collingwood - 1.2 (from 5)
17) Greater Western Sydney - 0.5 (from 2)

Finally, there is no longer any need to consider still-active players ahead of Walker on the goalkicking tally - he sits alone in that sense, having leapfrogged Porplyzia and Tippett to climb to 8th spot on the all-time list of goals kicked while wearing a Crows guernsey. It's only a couple of goals before he overtakes Edwards, and then a big slog towards DJ.

2) Mark Ricciuto: 291
3) Andrew McLeod: 277
4) Scott Welsh: 270
5) Brett Burton: 265
6) Darren Jarman: 264
7) Tyson Edwards: 192
8) Taylor Walker: 190

Front post updated, video added to the playlist. That's 25 videos now, with just a touch over 5 total hours of footage, so if you get bored one night and you're looking to wipe 300 minutes from your life..... :p

Tell you what, if he can finish the season off strongly (say 10-15 goals) and picks up from his 2012 season in 2015, he could crack top 5 by the end of it which would be a great achievement. There is a big gap to DJ, but then apart from Modra, spots 3, 4, 5 and 6 are all clustered within 13 goals of each other, then Ricciuto another 14 goals beyond that, so rapid climbing will occur.

Barring injury I would imagine he will finish his career as our top goalscorer, hopefully he can go one better than Modra (unlucky) and deliver us another premiership in that time too!

Modra certainly was something special. The list also highlights how badly we have lacked quality key forwards when 3/8 were predominantly midfielders. By the end of his career I'd be surprised if Tex hasn't threatened Modra's number one title.

Nicely done Stabby.

The stat that stands out for me is his output against GWS, a team we regularly score highly against. I figure he will redress that situation before long tho.

would be a hollow victory seeing as it only took Modra 118 games to get there ;)
I thought he took 119 games?

EDIT: Sorry, that was the amount of goals he kicked in the H+A season in 1993.

Hopefully by this time next year - he is on the verge of knocking Brett Burton from 5th down to 6th.

Kick another 15 goals this year and then 60 plus next year would be very nice.

GO YOU CROW BOYS
Just don't do a Robin Williams on us please mate.

If anyone can give me one good reason to get married these days, I'm all ears.
Getting a formal, legal, commitment from someone who wants to spend the rest of their life doing their best to make you happy.

Sounds awful.

(on my 2nd marriage)
