So, its Year No 5 for the Great Man (channeling TD here).

According to Leviticus 19.25:

'But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased.'

(sounds promising for Bucks and our boys)

The fifth year anniversary of marriage is celebrated by...err...wood:

'In ancient times, trees symbolized strength and wisdom. By the fifth year of marriage, the married couple is developing strong, deep roots like a venerable oak tree and is gaining insight and understanding from the mistakes and stumblings of the first five years. The pair has learned the most important lesson of all and the secret to a successful marriage: forgiveness.'

(I like the reference to forgiveness)

In numerology, no 5 is the symbol of harmony and balance. It is also a symbol of perfection and of:

'the limits of the man in his control on the Universe'

(yep, Bucks is definitely in control)

So with all this symbolism and predictions and happy circumstance, I am confident we will win the flag in Buck's fifth year.:D

Has Bucks lost the players?

Why didn't Seattle run the ball?

So many questions, so few answers, hopefully come September 2016 we have answers.

Still can't fathom why Tyson bit his ear...

in b4

Keep in mind that this is Twitter. It's not exactly a format that's conducive to in depth answers given the character restriction on posts.

Yeah, in-depth discussion in 100 and whatever characters, bound to be a winner.

Nah he didn't do it much towards the end of last year did he?

True, but that doesn't necessarily predict what he might do in 2016. I think most people acknowledged there was/is a cost involved in playing 2x young developing rucks in the 1 team. That cost is easier to bear when the team is winning, we weren't as competitive late in the season so something had to give. Lets see how they emerge from the preseason before we try and predict if that cost has reduced and by how much given they're both more experienced and have another full preseason under their belts.

And Nathan will end up winning (minimum) five flags for Coloingwood as coach

Maybe we finish 5th next year
All kidding aside, it's possible.
You would think anywhere from about 4th, 5th all the way to 12th.
Who knows.
Really really hoping we take some big steps .... Just more fun when that happens

And for the first time in mor than a decade 5 planets line up in the pre dawn sky in January 2016

Mercury - the ruler of communication
Venus - the planet of love
Mars - the action planet
Jupiter - the philosopher. A great time to find the 'gold'
Saturn - relates to karma. Reaping what we sow...

So it is also written in the Sky
A very auspicious sign:)

Though I'm still not pleased that Pluto got demoted from official planet to dwarf planet.
That's what happens when you draft Ben ken.

When you think about fairly, Nathan has been our best coach these past few years.

Anything that can be read from the last question, he says all the new recruits are going well but does not name Sier, our number 1 recruit... May be behind the 8 ball already?
Probably just that the 3 he did mention were all the mature age guys who are probably more likely to keep up with the training

Hoping the teams performance in 2016 is taken into account when Buckley's contract is being negotiated
Surely it will be irrelevant

Could've been worse - he could've done 'whatever it takes' and left us with a club in ruins for years.

Having a listen to Macaffer sounds like we will be going with a forward tagger this year, Caff might just be the man for the job.

We always seem to have someone in defense kill us so makes sense.

The ball was too easily being taken away from our forward line year and we now have Crisp and Greenwood to perform tagging roles at the stoppages, so it makes sense to use Macaffer in a forward line capacity as he can stop opponents and kick goals himself. The only problem is fitting him into a forward line that has Howe, Elliot and Fasolo and at various times, Swan as well.
