Anyway, I'm excited for the season kicking off this week. We have a really strong squad this season IMO. We need to be finishing top 4 and challenging for the title this season. Anything less than top 4 is unacceptable IMO.

Huge start against the champions this Sunday. We beat them at Suncorp last season well undermanned, so there's no reason why we can't do it again round 1 this week.

Adelaide just switched off after they scored. No idea how they let a bloke run into the six yard box unchallenged and how a mediocre corner is left to drop into the box.

How is 33,000 at Adelaide oval 'jam packed' ? 52,000 to see Port Adelaide V Hawthorn now that was jam packed. I assume that the upper tiers of the eastern stands were closed ? The SMA did this number during the SANFL finals to minimise cleaning costs, maximise profit and create a better crowd atmosphere.

A good crowd none the less and a credit to the supporters. Wonder if either club made a profit? If the SMA slugs the A League clubs the same as the AFL clubs you would have to doubt it.

The eastern stand was fully open, southern wasnt.

They wont make money from the game but theyll make money from public transport. Footy express buses ran but we were asked to pay to get on them. What a joke.
