Have about 4 mates that watch every single United game in its entirety on foxtel(there really are not many of them if you check the ratings) yet will not go to any game other than against Victory as they cannot justify the ridiculous price(this was the case at $30 let alone $35). Only one guy in my social group is a member. How the * are they supposed to attract new fans and grow the club when you cannot even convince current fans to go.
Having a stadium barely or less than half full is not going to provide the atmosphere to aide the spectacle to attract and retain new/current fans. What a pathetic club. I may sound bitter here but I genuinely want the club to grow and succeed. All I am seeing is greed, hubris and too much comfort. Give SA a second team if this one wants to be so greedy and not caring in a one team market.
