He is also set to argue the ACC was guilty of publicly releasing text messages found on the phones of the players.

These messages suggest his 2012 supplements program
had been run in an ad hoc manner and without spread sheets and documentation - something Dank rejects.

Dank, however, no longer has detailed documents outlining what the players were injected with, maintaining these were erased under the watch of the club's former administration.

Just read about the Dyson Heppel thing.

Just further proof that when left to their own devices, the AFL are spineless. Utterly spineless. It should be standard practice that once a player is suspended, the advertiser is allowed to review the contract (you'd think that would be part of the contract from the company!) and that all interactions must be also suspended while the player is not a representative of the AFL.

If the advertiser chooses to honor the agreement and engage the deal once the player is back on the playing list, so be it.

bloody hell, isn't that like a drunk driver suing Fosters?

the protection of convicted drug cheats by the AFL has a UCI ring about it similar to Lance Armstrong being protected by the UCI before USADA outed him.

the UCI is a disgraced organization which had wholesale changes after Armstrong, the AFL needs wholesale changes to its administration after Essendon.

thre will be no clear air until that happens, FIFA 9s going through this at the moment, but after all we are little aussie battlers who can do no wrong.

Francis Leech said basically the same thing on SEN this morning. It just hits you right between the eyes when you hear it like that- they basically tried to cover up and manage this whole affair for their best interests instead of condemning convicted drug cheats. The rest of the world (apart from the big US Sports) abide by the WADA code, why are the AFL even considering anything else?

This lawsuit by the bumber players (stupid...double dipping) may set a precedent where players will legally challenge the AFL'S definition of free agency...
AFL tried to protect its brand in the bumbers drug scandal and may have opened up a bigger can of worms..
Suck a big one AFL..

If he gets to keep it and comes back in 2017, he will be booed out of every stadium in Australia and it will get to him and he will retire mid season in disgrace. As soon as the appeal date is passed ( feb 10 ) the AFL should be stripping him of it no questions asked.

we wont be allowed to boo him....see adam goodes.

he wont come back next year, he will get his payout from the OFFAL and a cushy job next to daddy at 7

the lawsuits wont be for PEDs it will be for unsafe work practices which the club has been convicted off, the club will try and say the players knew but in common law that's irrelevant.

The AFL will subsidize the EFC in the players lawsuit...guaranteed...
Then there will be problems from other clubs. No way am I putting money into Richmond for it then go to pay those campaigners off.
