Disappointing to not get the win and move through. It just adds another fixture to a heavy schedule but after tonights crazy results, im just happy to still be in the cup. Bolton might have to face D-Studge in 10 days time too haha.

Also lol Chelsea, City, Southampton and Spurs.

its somewhat depressing that the only victories we can gloat about are the demise of those teams :D

Not an ideal result but happy to still be in the Cup and I'd back us to win the replay.

Thought we tried to be a bit too cute in and around the box, Sterling in particular. When there are so many defenders back, taking an extra touch or two just plays into their hands. Needed to be a bit more decisive.

We a cheap arse pricks when it comes to transfers and it seems we caht even offer one if our best and most promising players what he wants, i see us losing raheem sooner rather than later. Why must we * arse around with money, when you are playing with such large sums of money, why risk losing the only quality you have for a few extra thousand pounds a week, we arent talking glen johnson here its sterling!

Im not too worried about Sterling, he will sign a new contract for sure in the coming weeks.

We desperately need Sturridge back but also need new strikers. Sterling, to his credit, has done a great job filling in as a lone front man but it's not his best position or his natural one.

So really we have managed to make the League Cup Semi's, we're still in the FA Cup and still in the race for 4th all without an actual striker.

Not a bad effort.

Lambo is a plan B type of bloke. Borini simply isnt good enough and Balotelli doesnt have the mental side of his game to make it, or the urgency. It leaves us with one striker and he has been injured all season.

Amazing really for us to be in the position we are in.

A player we have been linked to, Delph has re-signed with Villa for 4 1/2 years.

Glen Johnson is set to turn down a move to Roma to stay with us. FFS!

Hughes from Derby could be sold to us this week (If we meet their fee), but Derby want him loaned back to them for the rest of the season.

Real shame, would've been a great opportunity for him to impress against a quality side. Who knows, it finished 3-2 without him, and with his current form he could well have been the difference to get Brighton a replay!
