Am not a Ronnie Brewer fan at all, but still would rather him sitting there than Murphy. We're playing ridiculous minutes to MDJr/Butler at the moment, with only Snell as backup. If Ronnie comes in to play 6-7mins a night, so be it.

Ronnie is a defensive specialist. While Jimmy is guarding LBJ or Paul George, Ronnie is there to pick up Stephenson or Wade.
Also, Jo would love to throw some passes to Ronnie working the baseline haha

Huh Ronnie is still only 28... Thought he was older tbh

He was doing well for the Knicks, it's a good pick up if it comes about.
Gives us another great defender to throw at LeBron/Wade with Butler and Kirk.
With Jo's playmaking and Brewers ability to work the baseline he's going to get some great looks.
Good potential signing if it happens.

No real issue with Ronnie's signing but its hardly a game changer. Im more concerned with our big man depth with pretty much only old man Mohammed backing up our big 3. If we get an injury there we might have to play very small...

The talks started because Love put the Bulls on his list of places he wouldn't mind playing at. I don't really see it happening, though.

Pity as he would make a terrific team mate of DR and Joakim.
TWolves should cut there losses and get some value back from a KLove trade. We have enough pieces to make it happen but still think he will end up back home in LA with Kobe.

Guess we become a Knick fan over the next week. They play the Raps twice. Need Melo to fire up and keep fighting for an unlikely 8th seed. Would much rather play the Pacers in the second round though so if they beat the Heat tomorrow its likely I would prefer a fourth seed. Home playoffs vs the Nets in the first round. What could go wrong?

Could be the Bulls backup big man going into next season. He is not eligible for playoffs so we'll probably see him at summer league.

We appear to have signed some non guaranteed contracts for next season (Jimmer, Smith, Admunson and James) in order to receive a player back for a side looking to dump salary. The players will barely touch the hardwood so its the only reason that makes sense. Apparently it equals 3 mill so it could result in a quality reserve contributor for next season. Lets hope so...
On another note was anyone else perturbed greatly by Thibs once again playing his starters deep into the 4th quarter today outside of Jimmy? Its traditionally the only flaw Thibs has but Hinrich is paper thin, and Joakim has bad feet yet they are out there with Bulls 16 points up with mins to go. Just so unnecessary right?

Are you kidding?! I've never seen so much bench play - there was a whole 1 minute left of game time with the entire bench on the court lol.
Also, Tornike Shengelia has been waived. Bulls were trying to get Kurt Thomas out of retirement.

Brilliant result in regards to playoff seedings for the Bulls IMO. A first round pumping of Wiz will get us a contest vs the misfiring Pacers (if they get through lol) in the second round. Great result in my book if we want to advance.
Jimmy getting 48 minutes was insane today with Joakim getting 42 mins. Send Thibs off to the Popovic school of rotation...

Still remember at the start of the season all the talk was "management are watching Thibs and he will be going easier with minutes". Was hilarious at the time and still is now!
