Hi Everyone,

Since I've been blessed enough that after 5+ years of manual labour (bleh!) I fell into a customer service role at a large contact centre and worked my way up to a management level I'd love to give any advice or answer any questions you may have.

How long did it take to move up? Been working at one for 6 months and already pulling my hair out coming to work each day. I have a commerce degree and can't find another job anywhere....

I take my hat of to you , contact centre work is always difficult , so how did you make a success of it.?

Toughest industry to work in by far. Kudos for lasting 5 years. Brutal.

I worked at one where it was common for staff to smuggle wine in their coffee cups and pop xanax before each shift due to the stress.
