Does anybody find it strange that the Bumblers* legal council have directly argued the opposite to their claims about taking PED's? The following article about their defense to Dean Robinson's suit is surely an admittance of guilt!

In response to Mr Robinson's writ, the club claimed he failed to put in place an "adequate process" to ensure substances administered to players in 2011 and 2012 did not contravene the anti-doping code, were approved by the World Anti-Doping Agency, and would not harm the health and safety of its players.

"While different players will have different prospects of being able to make out the defences, based on the players' own admissions, it will be extremely difficult for most of them to establish that they exercised utmost caution, to justify the application of the no fault defence. This defence will draw on the provisions of the code and interview transcripts."

You watch, if Ryder does walk he will go from favourite son to traitor overnight. It kind of reminds me when a whistleblower leaves the Church of Scientology...bad things happen!
Exactly. Watch him become a shirking, unfit hack with no skills and questionable commitment. Amazing what a red & black jumper does for a player.

What are people's thoughts on how the potential loss of Ryder (and possibly others) would affect Hird's chances of coaching next season? Surely losing top shelf player/s for nix is as damning an indictment as SCNs?
He'll be banned for life by the start of next season

He has zero chance of coaching there regardless of how many players leave

What are the odds of Ryder talking to Brisbane and GWS but eventually ending up at Sydney??
If the AFL are signing off on the deal then there is every chance, they might even negotiate to have his wage paid outside of the salary cap if he turns on his former team and becomes the AFL's key witness.

How much could he get from them in witness protection....

Very good and quite easy.

IN: Ryder...........Heeney(A top 5 pick for pick 18)..........2 * 1st round picks.
OUT: Goodes......ROK..................................................Mitchell & Reid

Sydney way in front, securing the present and planning for the future.

I would hate to be an EFC supporter. I mean having to go from talking Ryder up as the lock for the AA ruck position to claiming he is a hack in the space of a week would be EXHAUSTING !!!!!!! Not to mention the backflips they will be doing if Ryder stays ..............
