So the Bummers are going to pay 25G's of Thompsons fine
From scum breeds scum. That bloke is just all class, it must be a part of their employment application form.
Are you a ****** .........please circle the correct answer....... yes or yes
Would have thought he would need to pay from his own pocket ...... at least publicly.

So now we have Little wanting to throw it open to members to determine whether the board & Hird stay, if infractions take effect..................
Has anyone any words?

Pity the big wigs at Essendon can't, for whatever reason, do the right thing for the club and the competition.
I don't care how much money Little has because I'd hate to be living his life right now.

Ridiculous passing of the buck once again.
Make a ******* hard decision for once in your lives Essendon...well, it's really an easy decision for anyone who's not a complete moron.
Agree with this wholeheartedly, but would add complete areshole to complete moron.

If the members say they don't want Hird, then the club would hope that Hird will know he's not wanted and leave on his own accord.. If the members want Hird then they can argue this is what the members wanted.

Fence-sitting at it's best... no forward thinking... no hard decisions... I'm happy knowing Essendon's board is weak and inept!

Apparently it's all a massive political conspiracy to destroy the single powerhouse club in the country... the one that supports the entire league through the unending efforts of their one and only saviour St Jimmy the brave.

Bomber players pawns in political game
PARENTS of the 34 current and former Essendon players facing doping charges were told their sons had become pawns in a political game at a meeting at the club’s’ Tullamarine base on Tuesday night.

The briefing, chaired by David Grace, QC, on behalf of the AFL Players’ Association legal team, brought the parents up to date on matters surrounding the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal hearings tentatively set for December 15.
Bomber players pawns in political game

Those cunning stunts out at Tullamarine are still not accepting responsibility for the s**t that the club is in.

It would seem this report is very short on detail. What is the political game that the players have become a pawn in?

Any games played throughout this debacle, political or otherwise, have been played by the EFC in an attempt to avoid being held responsible for its employees running a drug program in breach of the relevant anti-doping rules.

No surprise this non-story appears on the News website. They should be declaring their vested interest at the beginning of every story they run in relation to this debacle.

It is unbelievable. House prices in Denial must be through the roof now that the whole of Bomberland has moved there lock stock and barrel.

Political pawns akin to asbestos victims. Just don't mention drug cheating.
