yeh he played well but 1 elite game doesn't make him elite, he needs to back it up for extended periods of time. Rockliff had 11 clearances a goal 14 tackles and 45 touches, good games happen every week.

in terms of young/ish smalls my favourites from both side are:

1. Steele
2. Duncan
3. Motlop
4. Elliott
5. Caddy
6. Murdoch

I reckon one could throw a blanket over Lang, Thurlow, Langdon and Broomhead though. All shown a bit in dribs and drabs.

Prefer the cats ruck division but they seem to spend less time on the park.

Moore looks like the most capable of being a star of both sides' youth. I see De Goey as handy and tough, always have really.

Basically overall i'd be a bit concerned for the cats in terms of key back stocks but i probably prefer their classy smalls
