Well, Freo really stole that. Carlton let them back in and Freo had 3 good chances for the win but were only able to convert one. That was good enough and Cameron Wood will be kicking himself tonight. Fyfe played some kind of a game to get that win for Freo. Michael Barlow only had 4 less possessions than him and also kicked 2 goals but was much less important to Freo.

Carlton were absolutely killed in the ruck, with Sandilands/Clarke having 67 hitouts and Casboult/Wood having 22.
