To quote Denis Denuto is was the "vibe" and this vibe may be completey wrong. I asked him if he would've preferred a 3 year contract and unsurprisingly he said 2 years was fine cause it means he'll be able to earn bigger money sooner. Also, just intangible things like him saying he was pretty keen for a lady friend - in Brisbane he may struggle with this but in Melbourne (and if he returned to Adelaide to a lesser extent) he would have the ladies lining up for him.

The club/players need to get this sorted out. Introduce him to players girlfriends friends, a bbq where they can all get to meet the players, something. Having a girlfriend in Brisbane would no doubt be a reason for them to stay.
